Sydney Montessori Schools, a venture promoted by a dynamic and enthusiastic woman entrepreneur, Mrs. Jasmine K Mathew commenced operations in 2003. A post graduate in HR and trained in Montessori system of education and child care, Sydney has become a passion for Mrs. Jasmine.
Vision of Sydney is to be “That distinctive force which structures, shapes, stabilises and sustains this earth and all the life on it through an all-encompassing novel education system”. We try to achieve this through our motto of “Creating life not just knowledge“.
The quality of education coupled with unique model of care system which has evolved over a period of 13 years of experience have positioned Sydney group as leaders in Montessori Schools in Kerala. Over these 16 years, Sydney has 17 Montessori schools spread over 6 districts. Centre of Excellence for Child Research and Training and Sydney Montessori Teacher’s Training College are at our Kumarapuram facility in TVM. Sydney Montessori Residential School is based at Nattassery, Kottayam.
We have been successfully and exclusively operating the crèche facility, under our brand of Sydney Montessori Schools at Infopark, Kochi from 2013.
All our teachers are well qualified. Teachers are majority undergraduates – B Ed, TTC, Montessori Teacher’s Training Course qualified. Principals and Vice-Principals are qualified Post-Graduates or Doctors (BAMS/BHMS). Our non-teaching staffs are exclusively Kitchen staff & Ayahs. Drivers and Security don’t have access to the facility and are part of the Admin support team. All resources after intake are trained on the Sydney methodology.
We provide sumptuous and quality food prepared at our schools for the children. It is served hot by teachers and children are trained to have food by themselves. The teachers are omnipresent always to help children take food. Ayahs are involved only for bathing the children according to their age and section.
We take care of children with age from 6 months – 6 years. Different sections are as described below.

We work on all days from 7.30 AM to 6 PM except Sundays and on Force Majeure occasions.
